The CMA Songwriters Series returns to Joe's Bar in Chicago for a special night on Thursday, Aug. 1 (8:30 PM/CT). An accomplished producer and songwriter, he is responsible for hits such as “Baby Girl” recorded by Sugarland and “Love or Money,” Bush’s current solo single. Berg won the CMA Song of the Year award in 1997 for the Deana Carter hit "Strawberry Wine." She was nominated for the same award in 2011 for "You & Tequila," recorded by Kenny Chesney featuring Grace Potter. Bobby Pinson has had multiple No. 1 hits including “It Happens,” “Already Gone,” “All I Want To Do,” and his first No. 1 song “Want To,” all recorded by Sugarland. CMA Songwriters Series host DiPiero (“Southern Voice” recorded by Tim McGraw, “Blue Clear Sky” recorded by George Strait, and “Lovin’ You Is Fun” recorded by Easton Corbin) will also return to the stage, sharing the entertaining stories behind some of his most popular hit songs.
